Event Description
Iryna Starovoyt - Professor of Cultural Studies at the Ukrainian Catholic University in L'viv, poet, translator, broadcaster - will be giving a talk this coming Wednesday at 11 AM under the auspices of Durham College's "Social Justice Week."
Iryna will be speaking about the war in Ukraine and the role of art, ideas, and culture in the conflict. Iryna is serving as "virtual writer in residence" for the Trent University-Durham College joint program in Journalism and Creative Writing and this is the first of several talks she will be giving.
Attendance is free and open to the public.
The event will take place on Zoom.
