The origins and meaning of religious icons. The uniqueness, historic and stylistic visions of the Coptic, Byzantine and Slavic Icons. How to write an icon – materials, methods and techniques. The principles of harmony – colour tonality and where is the light within coming from. The spirituality of Icons – icons as windows into the spiritual world and the unity of faith. Icons and the messages of Christianity - a prayerful world of purity, patience, repentance, forgiveness, compassion and love in the presence of God.
