Serhii Plokhy: Russo-Ukrainian War Through the Eyes of a Historian
Community Event
Event Description
Serhii Plokhy's new book "The Russo-Ukrainian War" is a comprehensive and compelling look at the roots and context of the ongoing war.
The topics explored by Prof. Plokhy resonate not only with the academic community but also hold significant relevance for the Ukrainian diaspora across the globe. With this in mind, the Kyiv-Mohyla Foundation of Canada invited him to address the Ukrainian-Canadian Community in Toronto.
During his speech, Prof. Plokhy will delve into the historical events underpinning the current Russian war against Ukraine and how its resistance is reshaping identities both internally and globally. The lecture will be followed by a discussion and Q&A session moderated by Marta Dyczok, an Associate Professor at Western University.
Tickets can be purchased at Eventbrite.ca or at the door. All proceeds go to support the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and its students.
