Mission Statement
CUIAS Mission is to provide the best possible settlement services to newcomers, including pre-arrival information and a comprehensive range of essential services in order to guide clients towards a successful long-term integration. As a front-line community organization, CUIAS has been actively responding to the crisis caused by the Russian invasion of Ukraine, by providing welcoming, emergency food and housing support as well as settlement services to Ukrainians arriving in Canada. In 2023, CUIAS served over 12,000 newcomers from Ukraine. We are also currently involved in Airport Reception services, welcoming Ukrainians arriving at Terminals 1 and 3 and facilitating government funded emergency hotel accomodation for 14 days.
CUIAS services include settlement assistance, English language training and consulting. Our services are offered in English, French, Ukrainian, Russian, Polish and Romanian languages.
