"The War is Not Over" Exhibit
Promoted by League of Ukrainian Canadians, Toronto Branch
Event Description
The "War is Not Over" is an exhibit of photos and facts about Russia's war in Ukraine, the destruction of infrastructure, its impact on children and the overall toll of the full-scale invasion and a ten-year war.
The exhibition is meant to highlight the magnitude of the humanitarian catastrophe, in Ukraine, the extent of the horrors inflicted by Russia, and the stories of courageous Ukrainians whose lives were ruthlessly taken - or forever altered by this war.
We cannot let the world forget or remain silent about it.
February 24, 2024, will mark 2 years of full-scale horrors that have taken place in Ukraine. At least 10,000 civilians, including more than 560 children, have been killed and over 18,500 have been injured since Russia launched its full-scale armed attack against Ukraine on 24 February 2022, according to the United Nations Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine.
